How to Join

One little known fact about the Shriners is that we are a concordant body of the Freemasons. To become eligble to be a Shriner, you must first become a third degree Master Mason in a regular blue lodge. Once you have achieved that status, you may apply. The Shrine at this time does not admit non-Masonic members due to our Constitution and Regulations, and the nature of the work we do.

Joining the Masonic Order is not a simple process, it involves first finding two Masons to be sponsors and then following what is called the 'seven step process'. More information can be found on the Grand Lodge of Alberta website. When you are ready, you can contact this lodge from the Contact page on this site.

Please conact us for more information, we look forward to meeting you and discussing your entrance into the world's oldest and best philanthropy.
